COMPOSITE IN PHOTO SHOP VERY EASY WAY

 

So here we have a picture of a watch - a very simple composite.

Here we have a simple solid colored background in black.

On top of that, we have the watch and on top of that, we have a simple colored overlay, just to make things interesting.

To add the text, which is the name of the brand of the watch, we need to choose a font that goes in sync with the style of the brand or

the mood that the brand is trying to convey.

In this case, it is a very techy and modern, minimal brand.

So, we're going to choose a font that goes with that.

So select the text tool right there and just click here once,the indicator will show up.

We're going to choose a very special font in this case calledZexo, Z - E - X - O, Zexo Regular.

I'm going to type it again for you, Z - E - X - O, ZexoRegular, and let's start typing the name of the brand.

I'm just making up this name - HEURO, something like that sounds funky.

So, we're going to make it a little bigger.

If you want to absolutely center something between any two areas, here's how you do it.

So, we want to make sure that the Hero is in between the knob and the edge of the canvas.

Select theRectangular Marquee tool right there, and start the selection exactly from here and go towards the edge of the canvas.

Now once you have that done, select the Move tool right there and click on this button, which is called Align Horizontal Centers.

Now press Ctrl or Command D to deselect that.

Time for us to add some subtext to it.

Select the Text tool, click on in here again and this time let's chooses simple font called Quartz.

All you have to do isto add some Tracking to it.

And for that, first of all, let's see the the text by double clicking on the T right there, it's selected it all.

Now, all you have to do is to hold the Alt key or the Option key on a Mac, and then the right arrow key to increase the tracking and the

You can also do it by going to the Character Properties by clicking here.

This opens up the Character Properties, and in here, if you just simply increase this value, this is the trackingvalue, it just increases.

If you still cannot find the Character Properties, you can always go to Window and then make sure your Character is checked.

For this one, we're going to choose the value of probably 520.

Now let's resize this to align with Heuro.I don't know how to say that, but I just typed a random name.

Now, when it comes to typography,if you're aligning something, we need to make sure that it's perfectly aligned.

Now we just need to make sure that the 'P' is in line with the 'H', which it already is.

With the Watches on the other end, we need to make some changes.

If we do that the main text is selected, we don't want that.

We just want to select the Premium Watches text.

So make sure that layer is selected - Premium Watches.

Press Ctrl or Command T and make it bigger.See, both are touching.

Just a little bit more, and there were are.

Just by adding some space between the letters, it begins to look premium.

The more space you add, the more premium it looks, but it's important not to overdo it.
